STATEMENT OF FAITH

Our core beliefs that guide our ministry

Word of God: We believe every word in the Bible to be true and to be the authoritative word of God.

John 1:1, 2 Peter 1:20-21, 2 Timothy 3:15- 3:16

The Holy Trinity: We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 3:16, Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14, Romans 1:20

God the Father: We believe in God the Father, the one true and living God, who is infinite, eternal, sovereign, just, and perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. He is the Creator and Sustainer of all things, and everything exists by His will and for His glory.

Deuteronomy 32:4, Luke 10:21-22, 1 Timothy 2:5-6, Romans 3:26

Jesus Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man, conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, with the Virgin Mary as His mother. He lived a sinless life, willingly gave His life on the cross to pay the price for our sins, died, and rose again from the dead. Through Jesus Christ alone, we can be reconciled to God and receive forgiveness, salvation, and eternal life.

Genesis 3:15, Isaiah 7:13-14, Isaiah 53, Luke 1:26-38, John 3:16, John 14:6, Matthew 1:18-25, Hebrews 7:25

Holy Spirit: We believe the Holy Spirit is God’s presence within every believer. He comforts, teaches, convicts, guides, empowers, and transforms us so that we may increasingly reflect the character of Christ. We believe that true spiritual growth comes through surrendering our lives to God and allowing the Holy Spirit to work within us.
John 14:16-17John 15:26-27, Romans 8:9, 1 Corinthians 6:19, Galatians 5:22-26

Salvation: We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, made possible through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Every person is created in the image of God and deeply loved by Him, yet because of Adam and Eve's sin, sin entered the world, and now we are all born sinners. Sin separates us from God and, apart from Him, we cannot save ourselves through our own goodness, works, or efforts. We believe that God, in His great love and mercy, made a way for humanity to be reconciled to Him. He sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, to take the punishment for our sin. Jesus lived a sinless life, willingly gave Himself on the cross, died in our place, and rose again from the dead, defeating sin and death. We believe that through salvation, we are forgiven and given a new identity in Christ. We are no longer defined by our past, our failures, our circumstances, or our sin.  Through Christ, we are given new life and are called to live in the freedom of His grace, grow in our relationship with Him, and allow His love to transform the way we think, speak, serve, and love others. We believe that salvation and eternal life with God are available to every person who calls upon the name of Jesus. No one is too broken, too far gone, or beyond the reach of God's grace.

Genesis 2:17, Genesis 3, Genesis 5:2, Romans 5:12-20,Romans 3:23-24, John 1:12, John 3:14-16, John 5:24, John 5:30

Great Commission: We believe that every follower of Jesus Christ is called to participate in the Great Commission. Before ascending to heaven, Jesus gave His followers a clear and lasting mission: to go into the world, make disciples, baptize them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and teach them to follow all that He commanded. We are called to help one another know God's Word, grow in faith, develop wisdom, pursue holiness, experience healthy community, and live out the teachings of Jesus in every area of life. Our words and our actions should work together to reflect His character. We seek to serve with humility, love without condition, speak truth with grace, care for those who are hurting, and meet practical needs as opportunities arise.

Mark 16:15, Luke 14:23, Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 1:7-8, Ephesians 5:19-21, Acts 2:42, Hebrews 10:23-25

Christian Conduct: We believe we are called to live holy and Christ-centered lives, aligning our thoughts, words, choices, and conduct with the truth of God’s Word. As followers of Jesus, we are called to reflect His love, compassion, humility, grace, and truth in the way we treat others and navigate every area of life. We believe our lives should serve as a light in a world that needs the hope of Christ. We are called to let the love of Jesus shine through us, not only through what we say, but through how we live, serve, forgive, encourage, and care for others. Our conduct should point beyond ourselves and toward the One we follow.

John 8:12, Colossians 2:9-11, Mark 10:6-9Romans 12:1-3, Hebrews 12:1-2Galatians 6:1Colossians 1:9-10Mark 12:28-31, 1 John 2:3-6John 14:23-24

Heaven & Hell: We believe that Heaven is the eternal dwelling place of God. Through Christ, we have the promise of eternal life with God; a future free from sin, suffering, sorrow, and death, where we will experience the fullness of His presence, goodness, and glory. We also believe in the reality of Hell and eternal separation from God. Hell is the just consequence of sin and the final judgment of those who reject God and His offer of salvation through Jesus Christ. We believe God does not delight in the destruction of people, but desires that all would turn to Him and receive eternal life.

1 John 2:25John 5:24Romans 6:23, 2 Peter 3:9, Revelation 20, Romans 5:12-20

Jesus is coming back: We believe in the return of Jesus Christ. Just as Jesus came into the world, lived among us, died for our sins, and rose again, we believe He will return in power and glory to fulfill God’s promises and establish His eternal kingdom. We believe that the timing of Christ’s return is known only to God, and therefore we are called to live with faithful expectation, readiness, and hope. We desire to faithfully follow Jesus today by loving God, loving others, sharing the Gospel, making disciples, and living as lights in the world.
